Track & Field Wraps Up NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. - Sophomore John Hortonrepresented the University of Houston track and field program on fourth and final day of the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field.
The Copperas Cove, Texas, native leaped 15.62m (51-3) for a 15th place finish in the triple jump. This distance was the second furthest of the season and just .04m (1.5 in.) behind his personal and season best mark of 15.66m (51-4.5).
