AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Houston track and field team will travel to Austin to compete in the 86th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Thursday through Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas. The Cougars have competed in this prestigious meet since the early 1960s.
Action begins Wednesday with the decathlon and heptathlon, but no Cougars will be competing in these two events. On Thursday, the multi events will conclude and the preliminary rounds of the 400-meter hurdles and 4x800-meter relays will begin.
Friday and Saturday are both full days of activity starting in the morning. Events begin at 9:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively. Friday will conclude at 9:05 p.m. with the university men's 4x1500-meter relay, while Saturday's competition will finish at 4:05 p.m., with the Cleburne Price Jr. 4x400-meter relay. Both days will feature college and high school division races and field events.
