In the three-game series, Houston posted a season-high 17-inning hit streak as a team. The streak began in the sixth inning of Game 1 and lasted until the fifth inning of Game 3. During that stretch, the Cougars recorded at least one hit in every inning, which included one in every inning of Game 2, despite the three-game sweep.
