Track Begins 2012 Outdoor Campaign

HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field teams will begin their 2012 outdoor campaign as they travel to Ft. Worth, Texas, to compete in the TCU Invitational on Thursday and Friday at the Lowden Track Complex.
The meet is slated to begin at 3 PM on Thursday with the hammer throw, which will be followed by the javelin competition. Teams will return to action Friday for all other field events in addition to the running events, staring at 11:30AM with the women's high jump.
In addition to Houston, TCU, North Texas, Baylor and Texas State will be among the field.
The meet will not be scored. Live results will be provided by Flash Texas and can be found here.
