Houston Tennis Set for SDSU Fall Classic

SAN DIEGO - The University of Houston tennis team will compete in its second tournament event of the fall season at the SDSU Fall Classic in San Diego, Calif., beginning Friday. The tournament features six singles draws and three doubles draws and runs through Sunday.
"Starting this weekend, I hope to see a tougher and more disciplined team than last year," said head coach John Severance. "We've been working hard on our work ethic and I'm hoping it has paid off in the short term, but we're really gearing up for the spring season."
The Cougars will travel a full squad to the SDSU Fall Classic, which features a competitive field, including Utah, Cal State Northridge, Duke, Loyola Marymount, New Mexico State, San Diego and host San Diego State.
Below is the schedule for the opening day of action on Friday.
