Conference USA Announces 2011 Football Media Day Coverage

IRVING, Texas - Conference USA's 2011 Football Media Day is set for Sunday, July 31 in Memphis, Tenn. Houston head football coach Kevin Sumlin and senior quarterback Case Keenum will be on hand to preview the upcoming season, as well as the league's 11 other head coaches and top players.
ConferenceUSA.com will present free, live streaming of the coaches press conferences on Sunday. The press conferences begin at 2 p.m. CDT and will run until approximately 4 p.m. CDT. Houston is scheduled to appear at approximately 3 p.m. CDT. These press conferences will also be archived on the conference website.
Conference USA's social media platforms will provide live updates throughout the day. Quotes, notes and photos will be posted via Twitter (@ConferenceUSA1 or #ConfUSAFBMD) and on the Conference USA Facebook page.
Television coverage previewing the upcoming season will be provided by the league's television partners following Sunday's Media Day.
FOX Sports will also offer a live webcast of C-USA Media Day on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. CDT on foxsportssouthwest.com, foxsportshouston.com, and foxsportssouth.com. C-USA Media Day Recap, a 30-minute program with highlights from media day, will debut on FOX Sports Southwest (Sunday, 10:30 p.m. CT), FOX Sports Houston (Sunday, 10:30 p.m. CT), FOX Sports Oklahoma (Sunday, 10:30 p.m. CT), SportsSouth (Monday, Aug. 1, 4 pm ET) and Sun Sports (Monday, Aug. 1, 6 p.m. ET).
FOX Sports Southwest will also produce two Football Preview shows set to air and re-air during the two weeks prior to the CFB season starting, titled The C-USA East Division Football Preview and The C-USA West Division Football Preview. Both shows will be 30 minutes long and will air on FSN affiliates.
Fox Sports South will have a crew on hand and will air some of the interviews it shoots during the preseason, as well as features that can be seen as part of new regional television show entitled "The New College Football Show" that will be airing throughout the season.
CBS Sports Network and CSS will each have crews in Memphis to shoot interviews that will air during several different college football preview shows that both networks will air during the month of August.
The 2011 C-USA Football season kicks off on Thursday, September 1, when Memphis hosts Mississippi State. Eleven of the league's 12 teams are in action during opening weekend, with five games scheduled to air on national television.
