The University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will honor an All-Decade team for the years of 2001-2010 during the upcoming football season. Fans will have the chance to vote for their favorite players during the time period in an online poll at UHCougars.com.
The team will be comprised of 25 players, 11 defensive positions, 11 on offense along with a kicker, punter and return specialist. Voting will go for one month beginning today, July 1 and concluding on Aug. 1.
Fifty percent of the votes will come from the Cougar fan nation, with 30 percent determined by a media poll and the remaining 20 from a panel of UH administrators.

COACHES' ROAD TOUR: Fans can catch their favorite coaches and UH administrators in areas around Houston during the 2011 Coaches' Road Tour. After a successful event in Pearland, UH will host fans at Ragin Cajun (9600 Westheimer) on July 20 and at Loggia (2248 Texas Dr.) in Sugar Land on July 27. Both events begin at 6:30 p.m.
