Baseball Announces New Ticket Packages

HOUSTON - The start of the 2011 University of Houston baseball season is just a week away and the Houston Athletics Ticket Office has announced a ticket package available during the Ole Miss and Kent State series.
For $48 fans can purchase four general admission tickets, four coupons for a small fountain drink or a small beer, four coupons for a regular hot dog and four coupons for a hat from the UH Fan shop. Fans must be 21 or over to redeem the coupon for beer.
Additional tickets can also be purchased for $12 each and will be eligible for the coupons as well.
This package is available for the Sunday (Feb. 27) game against Ole Miss and the Saturday (March 19) game against Kent State. Tickets must be purchased in advance and the package will not be available at the stadium on gameday.
Season tickets are also still available for purchase.
For fans wanting to buy baseball season tickets, a variety of packages are available with prices ranging from $100-$399. Public reserved seating in the 100 level is on sale for $200, while public general admission seating in the 200 level is priced at $165 for the season.
In addition, the Baseball Grand Slam Package is available, giving fans the option to purchase tickets to two premium games (Ole Miss and Rice) and two non-premium games for $32. A Baseball Saturday Package is available for $48 and this will give fans a chance to attend all seven Saturday games during the 2011 season, including the contests against Ole Miss and Rice.
Seats for both baseball packages will be available in the 200 level seating areas.
Remaining single game tickets will go on sale Feb. 15 at 8 a.m.
Each of the ticket plans above are available online by logging on to UHCougars.com and going to the ticket page, by calling the UH Ticket Office at (713) GO-COOGS (462-6647) or by coming to the Houston Athletics Ticket Office in the Athletics/Alumni Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
