Softball Announces Spring Camp Dates

HOUSTON- The University of Houston softball coaching staff will host four single-day camps this spring, beginning Jan. 30. Open only to high school players, the spring camps are centered around pitching and offense.
Each of the four Sunday camp dates will be split into two sessions. The first session on each date will teach the fundamentals of pitching, while the second session will focus on hitting and slapping.
Pitching Session
This clinic with be filled with high intensity and advanced drills to improve accuracy, location and movement on all pitches. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own catcher.
Hitting Session
The hitting clinic will cover advanced drills to help hitters improve on the proper fundamentals of hitting, including contact points, situational hitting and the mental aspect of being a hitter. Slappers will focus on slapping for power, bunting and soft slapping.
