Softball to Hold Walk-On Meeting

HOUSTON - The University of Houston softball coaching staff will host a meeting for potential walk-ons for the 2010-11 season at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 25 in room 2119 of the Athletics/Alumni Center.
Potential walk-on players must meet the following criteria:
1. Be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours
2. Must have classes completed each day by 2:30 p.m.
3. Get compliance signature on try-out initiation sheet
4. Get a physical dated within the last year
5. Have current health insurance and bring a copy of card
6. Attend try out
