2010 Football Schedule
HOUSTON - The University of Houston football program added two games on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast to its 2010 television schedule, head coach Kevin Sumlin announced Friday evening.
The Cougars' showdown at crosstown rival Rice will air live on CSS at 2:30 p.m., Oct. 16, at Rice Stadium. Additionally, fans can tune in at 6 p.m., Oct. 30, when Houston meets Conference USA-rival Memphis at the Liberty Bowl.
With those additions, the program will play nine consecutive televised games from Sept. 10 against Conference USA-rival UTEP to Nov. 13 against league foe Tulsa. During that stretch, the team will compete on several networks, including ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS College Sports and CSS.
Additional games may be televised and will be announced at a later date. Fans should stay tuned to UHCougars.com for the latest Cougar football information.
A year ago, the Cougars competed in 12 televised games and posted an impressive 9-3 mark in those contests.
In addition to the televised games, officials also announced that the Cougars' Nov. 20 game at Southern Miss will kick off at 6 p.m.
