HOUSTON - Each week during the 2010 season, the University of Houston baseball team will feature one member of its team as the Player of the Week. The goal of having a Player of the Week is to give fans a chance to get to know the Cougars off the field.
This week's featured player is freshman outfielder Dakota Dill. The Spring, Texas native has seen the majority of action this season as a pinch hitter but has provided a spark off the bench for the Cougars. He scored a run as a pinch runner against Arizona State earlier in the season and recorded an RBI pinch hit against UCF on March 28. Dill's first career start came at designated hitter against UTSA on April 13.
