Softball Postpones Baylor Doubleheader Due to Weather

HOUSTON – Due to weather concerns, the University of Houston softball coaching staff has postponed the Baylor doubleheader. Originally scheduled for this afternoon at 3 p.m., the matchup is now scheduled for May 8 beginning at 5 p.m. in Waco, Texas.
The Cougars will spend the remainder of the week preparing for the LSU Tiger Invitational on Feb. 26-28 in Baton Rouge. Houston is slated to take on Jacksonville State at 2:30 p.m. and No. 16 LSU at 7:30 p.m. on Friday before squaring off against Southern at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars will either play at 4 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. that day depending on their tournament seed. On Sunday, the consolation game is set to begin at 10 a.m. with the championship game following at 12:30 p.m.
