"We still need to improve our rebounding. We outrebounded them, but they still had 16 offensive boards, which let them hang in the game longer. I think we got passive at one point and that's why I called the timeout late, and I think they responded well."
On the team's defensive effort
"We've been able to guard well through the first two games. I told the team from day one that will be a big emphasis for us, and they've really bought into it. When we talked about `press, run and have fun', that's part of it. So far, I've been really pleased with the defense."
On the run before halftime dictating the rest of the game
"Roxana (Button) came in and gave us a huge lift by hitting a couple of threes. Brittney Scott joined the party, as well as Courtney (Taylor) and Lesslee (Mason). I give Rox a lot of credit for lighting the match and igniting our offense. Once that happened, I was really pleased with how the others followed."
