Cougars in the Pros: Week Seven

Former Cougars play major roles in the National Football League this past weekend.
Kevin Kolb, QB, Philadelphia Eagles (4-3) - played and started at quarterback for the second straight game. He went 26-for-48 for 231 yards and ran the ball three times totaling 18 yards. The Eagles fell short to the Tennessee Titans 37-19.

Sebastian Vollmer, RT, New England Patriots (5-1) - played and started at right tackle. The Patriots threw for 128 yards and rushed for 51 yards in a 23-20 win over the San Diego Chargers.
Next Up: Vs. Minnesota, 3:15 p.m. CT, Gillette Stadium, FOX
Stanford Routt, CB, Oakland Raiders (3-4) - played and started at corner. He had two tackles, all solo stops, a forced fumble and a pass deflection during the game. The Raiders were victorious over division-rival Denver Broncos 59-14.

Jackie Battle, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) - was active and played on both offense and special teams. He ran the ball three times for 12 yards and had his second career rushing touchdown. He also had an assisted tackle on special teams. The Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 42-20.

Thomas Gafford, LS, Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) - continued as the long snapper for the Chiefs. Had a fumble recovery on specials teams. The Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 42-20.

Rex Hadnot, C/G, Arizona Cardinals (3-3) - was active but need not see any playing time in the Cardinals loss to the Seattle Seahawks 22-10.

Fendi Onobun, TE, St. Louis Rams (3-4) - was not active when the Rams narrowly loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18-17.
