TEAM NOTES
** Saturday's attendance of 32,067 was the fourth consecutive sellout at Robertson Stadium, a first in the history of the facility.
** Saturday's attendance of 32,067 was the third-largest crowd in the history of Robertson Stadium... It trailed only the record crowds of 32,119 in back-to-back home games against Texas State (Sept. 4) and Conference USA-rival UTEP (Sept. 10) to open the 2010 season.
** With Saturday's loss, Houston saw its school-record 18-game home winning streak on John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium snapped... It was the nation's fourth-longest active streak among all Football Bowl Subdivision teams
** Saturday's loss was the Cougars' first home loss since a 37-35 setback to C-USA rival East Carolina on Sept. 29, 2007.

** Saturday's loss also was MSU's only win in the last nine games against the Cougars.

** With 10 receptions, junior wide receiver Tyron Carrier recorded a catch in his 32nd consecutive game.
** Junior wide receiver E.J. Smith tied his career high with four receptions... His total equaled his previous best against Rice on Nov. 28, 2009.
** Junior wide receiver E.J. Smith set a personal best with 86 receiving yards... His total topped his previous high of 56 yards against Conference USA rival Memphis on Nov. 21, 2009.
** With two blocked field goal attempts, senior tight end Wesley Scourten recorded his third and fourth blocked kicks of the 2010 season... They also were the fifth and sixth blocked kicks of his career.
