ABOUT HOUSTON
The Cougars (2-0) enter Saturday's game well rested after enjoying their lone bye weekend. In their most recent game, the Cougars earned a 45-35 win at No. 5 Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., on Sept. 5
It was the program's first win against a top-five team since 1984. It also was the Cougars' third straight win against a nationally ranked opponent dating back to 2008, all under second-year head coach Kevin Sumlin.
Junior quarterback Case Keenum leads the Cougars with 725 yards, seven touchdowns and only one interception on 55-of-76 passing through two games this season. The Abilene, Texas, native has recorded at least 300 yards passing in back-to-back games.
Sophomore running back Bryce Beall leads the ground attack with 136 yards and two touchdowns on only 27 carries. The Tatum, Texas, native has posted receiving and rushing touchdowns in each of the first two games.

Sophomore defensive lineman David Hunter recovered a pair of fumbles at No. 5 Oklahoma State, and junior cornerback Jamal Robinson returned an interception 26 yards for a touchdown against the Cowboys to seal the win.
ABOUT TEXAS TECH
The Red Raiders (2-1) enter this weekend's contest after a 34-24 loss at No. 2 Texas last weekend in Austin. Quarterback Taylor Potts leads the Texas Tech offense with 1,281 yards and 12 touchdowns on 116-of-167 passing.
