Softball to Host Walk-On Meeting Monday, Aug. 24

HOUSTON - The University of Houston softball coaching staff will host a meeting for potential walk-ons for the 2009-10 season on Monday, Aug. 24 at 3 p.m. in room 2001 of the Athletics/Alumni Center. Potential walk-ons must meet the following criteria:
1. Be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours
2. Must have classes completed each day by 2:30 p.m.
3. Get compliance signature on try out initiation sheet
4. Get a physical dated within the last year
5. Have current health insurance and bring a copy of card
6. Attend try out
