Softball to Host Fall Camps Throughout September

HOUSTON -
The University of Houston softball coaching staff will host three camps during the month of September. Open to girls 8 and older, the camps will teach the fundamentals of hitting, slap hitting and pitching.
High School Hitting and Slapping Camp
Campers will get the opportunity to experience a day in the life of the Cougars. The girls will work with the coaching staff to perfect the advanced fundamentals of hitting and slap hitting.
Date: September 6, 2009
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Place: Cougar Softball Stadium
Cost: $75
Ages: High school students
Pitching Camp
Offered to girls 8 and older, the primary emphasis of the camp will be on the proper fundamentals of pitching, ranging from beginning skills and advanced techniques.
Date: September 13, 2009
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Place: Cougar Softball Stadium
Cost: $75
Ages: 8-18
General Skills for Hitting and Slapping Camp
Campers, ages 8-14, will learn the essential skills needed to develop proper hitting and slap hitting techniques.
Date: September 20, 2009
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Place: Cougar Softball Stadium
Cost: $75
Ages: 8-14 (excludes high school students)
