Athletics Ticket Office Announces Holiday Hours

HOUSTON - As the holiday season draws closer, the University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office announced its office hours around the break.
From Dec. 16 until Dec. 23, the Athletics Ticket Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, in their office on the first floor of the Athletics/Alumni Center (3100 Cullen Blvd.).
The Athletics Ticket Office will be closed Dec. 24-27 and reopen for business for only two days from 8 a .m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 28 and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 29.
The Athletics Ticket Office will close again Dec. 30-Jan. 1 for work at the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Cougars, ranked No. 25 in the latest USA Today Coaches poll, meet Air Force for the second straight season during the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl at 11 a.m., Dec. 31, at Amon G. Carter Stadium on the campus of TCU.
A year after winning their first bowl game since 1980 and snapping an eight-game losing streak in bowl games, the Cougars look to win consecutive bowl games for the first time since 1979-80.
TICKETS PICK-UP IN FORT WORTH
While in Fort Worth, fans can purchase and pick up tickets from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the lobby of the Renaissance Worthington Hotel (200 Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102 * 817-870-1000), the official team hotel.
Fans also can pick up their Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl tickets on Dec. 31 from 9 a.m., until the end of the first half at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, located off the southwest corner of Amon G. Carter Stadium.
RETURN OF REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS IN HOUSTON
The Athletics Ticket Office will resume its regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Monday through Friday, beginning Jan. 4.
MEN'S BASKETBALL TICKETS
In addition to tickets for the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, fans also can purchase season and single-game tickets for Houston men's basketball games at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Athletics/Alumni Center.
Basketball tickets will not be available for purchase in Fort Worth.
Single-game tickets for the Cougars' final eight home games went on sale earlier this week. In addition, season tickets are still on sale and remain a great value, starting at only $135, and fans still can purchase a variety of ticket packages to fit their needs.
