HOUSTON - The University of Houston soccer team closes out its 2008 campaign, as the Cougars host crosstown- and Conference USA-rival Rice at 7 p.m., Friday, at Robertson Stadium in the season finale.
Houston (6-10-1, 2-7-1 C-USA) will look to close out its season on a positive note by beating the Owls (10-7-0, 6-4-0 C-USA).

Senior captain Shelby Scott continued her ascent up the all-time Cougar leaderboards, becoming the winningest keeper in school history with 19 wins after the victory over the Miners.
Scott also sits atop the record books with 13 career shutouts and 301 saves.
Rice leads the all-time series history with UH with a 4-2-1 record, notching wins in four of the last five head-to-head match-ups.
Friday also will mark Senior Day for the Cougars at Robertson Stadium, as the University would like to give thanks and show its appreciation for all the departing seniors.
