Indoor: Moved into the Houston record books with the fifth best weight throw in school history with a throw of 15.00m/49-02.50...led the team in the shot put with a throw of 16.65m/54-07.50 set at the C-USA Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Won the discus and was the runner-up in the shot put at the Tom Tellez Invitational...leads the team in the discus and the shot...NCAA Regional Qualifier in the discus with a throw of 57.55m/188-10, throw ranks as the fifth best in school history...has a season best throw of 16.51m/54-02.00 in the shot put.
2006
Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Competed unattached for the University of Houston...completed at the UTSA Whataburger Classic and won the discus with a throw of 188-10... also competed in the shot put with a throw of 54-01.75... finished ninth in the shot put at the Rice All-Comers Meet... won the discus at the Rice All-Comers Meet with a throw of 188-01.
Prior to Houston
Transfer from SMU...didn't compete in track and field.
High School
State qualifier in the discus...was the regional and District 21-5A champion in the shot put four straight years...named team captain and earned Second-Team All-District 21-5A player in basketball...earned All-State honors in band and orchestra...member of the French Club and was an academic decathlon...received Spring Woods' Tiger Award.

Major is music...born October 7, 1984, in Houston...son of Ok Chu and Ho Dong Lee of Houston...came to Houston from SMU after being recruited by Texas A&M, Texas, Stephen F. Austin, McNeese State and Rice out of high school...hobbies include listening to classical music, cooking and reading.
