Track and Field Wraps Up Multi-Events at Texas Relays

HOUSTON -- The University of Houston track and field team wrapped up competition in the multi-events during the second day of competition at the 80th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
Houston was led in the decathlon by freshman Wesley Bray's 11th place finish. Bray finished the meet with 6,811 points. Senior Nick Garza added a 15th place finish with 6,207 points.
On the women's side, in the heptathlon, freshman Brittani Williams was 19th scoring 4,001 points.
Freshman Alex Bentley competed in the `B' section of the pole vault competition turning in a fourth place finish after clearing 5.05m/16-06.75.
Competition will resume Friday at 9:30 a.m. with running events and the field events are set to begin at 10 a.m.
