Kennimer is 2-0 on the season with a 1.95 ERA ... both of her wins came at the Crowne Plaza Classic (Feb. 15-18) ... logged 4.1 innings of relief allowing just one run on five hits against Indiana (Feb. 17) ... threw four strong innings of one run ball against Centenary (Feb. 18)
2006 Season (Junior)
Kennimer made 11 starts and compiled a 8-2 record with a 2.85 ERA ... held opponents to a .206 batting average which was sixth-lowest in C-USA ... finished season winning seven of her last eight decisions ... compiled a 5-1 mark with a 2.65 ERA in C-USA action ... held opponents to a league-low .178 batting average in C-USA action ... struck out a season-best six batters against Samford (Feb. 18) ... recorded her 100th career strikeout against the Bulldogs, becoming the fifth pitcher in UH history to reach that feat ... also was fourth pitcher in Cougar history to reach 20 career wins ... strung together three consecutive shutout starts against Rhode Island (Feb. 24), Ole Miss (March 3) and UCF (March 26), surrendering a total of five hits in those outings ... logged 3.2 innings of two-hit scoreless relief at UCF (March 25), entering game to strike out the side with the bases loaded in the fifth inning ... pitched five strong innings at Marshall (April 14) allowing just one earned run against five hits ... fired a career-best nine innings, striking out a season-best seven batters in 3-2 win over Southern Miss (April 22).
2005 Season (Sophomore)
Made 24 appearances, including 19 starts ... tied with Angel Shamblin, registering a team-best 11 wins ... five of her 11 wins came in C-USA action ... held opponents to a team-low .198 average ... the .198 opponent batting average was also fifth best in C-USA ... named C-USA Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 28) after posting consecutive no-hitters, earning 5-0 victories over Northern Illinois (Feb. 25) and Buffalo (Feb. 27) ... no-hitter against NIU was the first of her career ... she also punched out a season-best seven strikeouts against Buffalo ... threw all eight innings, striking out six in a 4-3 victory over No. 16 Nebraska (Mar. 5) ... combined with Barbie Love to throw a one-hitter against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Mar. 14) ... surrendered only two hits pitching the final 4.1 innings of a 4-3 come-from-behind win against UAB (Apr. 9) ... fired six scoreless innings in a 1-0 victory at Southern Miss (Apr. 16) ... struck out four in six innings of work in a 3-2 victory over USF (Apr. 24) ... opened the C-USA Tournament with a 3-1 win over Southern Miss (May 13).
2004 Season (Freshman)
Had 15 starts and 21 appearances as a freshman ... recorded a 7-4 record with a 1.86 ERA ... her 1.86 ERA was sixth best in C-USA ... ranked first in the conference for fewest hits allowed and runs allowed ... was second in C-USA in home runs allowed ... first win as a Cougar came against UTA (Feb. 6), giving up one run on five hits.
