HOUSTON - The University of Houston women's basketball team closes out a three-game road swing at Akron, Sunday at 1 p.m. CST in the James A. Rhodes Arena.
Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST Sunday.

STORYLINES
- UH (4-6) is 2-0 on this road trip and looks for its first three-game road winning streak since the 2004-05 season.
- Tye Jackson (12.6 ppg) and Twiggy McIntyre (12.3 ppg) lead the way for Houston.
- Jackson was named one of the initial 30 candidates for the 2007-08 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award on Dec. 6.
- Alona Obaze (knee) is doubtful for Saturday's game. Zane Jakobsone (wrist) will not play and looks to make her UH debut against TCU (12/21).
- Houston head coach Joe Curl, who suffered a heart attack on Oct. 27, was released from the hospital on Nov. 29. No timetable has been set for his return and assistant coach Danny Hughes will serve as the interim head coach for the foreseeable future.
- UH starts a six-game homestand against TCU on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. CST. The Cougars will also take on Duke (12/28) and Lamar (01/02) before entering C-USA play against UTEP (01/04), Tulane (01/06) and Rice (01/13). The homestand is UH's longest since playing nine-straight at home from 12/14/96-01/10/97.
- Due to the University of Houston football team's participation in the 2007 Texas Bowl against TCU at Reliant Stadium on Dec. 28, UH administrators have moved the women's basketball game time against Duke up to 1 p.m. CST.
