Holas to Appear on 790 AM The Sports Animal

HOUSTON - Head coach Kyla Holas will speak as the halftime guest when the University of Houston men's basketball team squares off with crosstown rival Rice Wednesday night at Hofheinz Pavilion.

Holas will preview the upcoming season with Tom Franklin. The Cougars are coming off a 40-23 season and have won at least 35 games in four of the last five seasons.
Houston opens the 2007 season playing host to the Wilson/DeMarini Invitational, welcoming No. 11 Michigan, Texas-Arlington and Mississippi to the Cougar Softball Stadium on Feb. 9-11.
