Six Cougars Earn Conference USA Academic Medals

IRVING - Six University of Houston student-athletes earned Conference USA Commissioner Academic Medals during the 2005-06 academic year Wednesday afternoon as announced by Commissioner Britton Banowsky.
The medals are given to C-USA student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above during the academic year.
The six Cougars represent five different sports. Soccer was the only sport to have multiple winners in Sarah Fisher and Jennifer Dry.
A total of 241 student-athletes earned C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medals. Below are the other Cougars who received an academic medal.
