HOUSTON - The University of Houston softball coaching staff announced its summer skill camp dates Wednesday.
All ages are invited to attend the General Skills Camp that begins on Monday, June 12th and runs through Thursday, June 15th. During each session, players will develop a solid foundation and improve skills in game fundamentals such as throwing, fielding and hitting. On Monday through Wednesday, camp runs from 9am to 5pm and wraps up Thursday morning from 9am to 12pm.
Cougar Fastpitch Camp also offers a Pitching/Catching Camp for all ages starting on Monday, June 19th that runs through Thursday, June 22nd. This camp focuses on proper pitching mechanics and techniques in addition to proper catching skills.
For high school players looking to polish skills, Cougar Fastpitch Camp offers single-day sessions in Advanced Offense and Advanced Defense Camp that run from 1:30pm to 5pm. The Advanced Offense Camp is set for June 15th, while the Advanced Defense Camp is June 22nd.
Participants are encouraged to sign up early so they won't miss out on Cougar Fastpitch Camp. A registration form is attached above and can also be accesssed by going to the softball home page by clicking on the Softball Camp Registration Form link on the right side of the page.
