Hey Coog Fans,
I know that I haven't submitted an entry in a few days, but this past weekend we had a pretty hectic schedule. Even though we didn't have as good a weekend as we wanted in Arizona, we as a team (players and coaching staff) are keeping a positive attitude.
I know that getting swept is never a good feeling nor is it good for the old win/loss record, but it's out of our control now. It's over. It's done with. The Houston Cougar Baseball Team has put the Arizona State weekend behind them. We are moving on. We are now focusing on Northwestern State for Wednesday night's game.
We had a strong practice on Tuesday that was really needed. We had a few encouraging words from Coach Noble that really lit a fire under us, and I really think that it is going to show on Wednesday against Northwestern State and in every game beyond that.
