Deposits For 2007 Football Season Tickets Now Being Taken

HOUSTON - Fresh off the University of Houston Football team's win in the C-USA Championship Game presented by Aeropostale, fans can now get ready for the 2007 season.
2007 football season ticket deposits are now being accepted at UHCougars.com. For only $50, fans will be put in line for available seating after current season-ticket renewals in the spring.
Current season-ticket holders will receive their renewal applications in the spring and do not need to place a deposit at this time.
Season-ticket prices will vary depending on location, and final prices will be announced in the spring.
The Cougars earned their first C-USA Championship in 10 years with a 34-20 win over Southern Miss on Friday at John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.
With that win, the team will advanced to the Liberty Bowl at 3:30 p.m., Dec. 29, when they will face an opponent from the Southeastern Conference.
Liberty Bowl tickets are available on-line at UHCougars.com. Fans should click on the "Tickets" link near the top of the main page where they will be directed to a page for purchasing tickets to the Dec. 29 game in Memphis, Tenn., at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Tickets cost $45 and can be purchased on-line at UHCougars.com.
Season-ticket holders who have already sent in their bowl applications will have their orders filled and do not need to order additional tickets.
The UH Ticket Office will open at 8 a.m., Monday morning and be open during regular business hours next week. As the Christmas holiday draws closer, information about the Ticket Office holiday hours will be posted on UHCougars.com.
