Softball Announces Schedule Changes

HOUSTON - University of Houston softball head coach Kyla Holas announced a schedule change Wednesday for the Conference USA series at Marshall.
The two teams were originally scheduled to play a noon doubleheader on April 15 with a single game slated for noon, April 16. Houston and Marshall will now square off with a doubleheader starting at 3pm on April 14 with a single-game slated for 10am on April 15.
Houston begins the 2006 season against Oregon in the Wilson/DeMarini Invitational on Feb. 10 at the Cougar Softball Stadium. First pitch against the Ducks is slated for 4pm. The Cougars hook up against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi 30 minutes after the conclusion of the season opener.
