Soccer Continues Homestand Against TCU

HOUSTON - The University of Houston soccer team is set to host in-state foe TCU at 3 p.m. tomorrow at John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.
The Cougars (1-1) are looking to continue their winning ways after a convincing 4-0 win against Grambling State on Sunday. In the shutout keeper Stephanie Pucek provided outstanding defensive play grabbing five saves on the afternoon.
Sophia Mundy paced the Houston offense with two goals. Sarah Fisher and Abbey Betach each added a goal and an assist for the Cougars last time out against GSU.
After winning its season opener 4-0 against Texas Tech back on August 26, the Horned Frogs (1-2) have dropped two straight matches to Texas A&M (4-0) and SMU (5-2).
This will be the first match-up for the two schools since TCU has departed from Conference USA for the Mountain West. TCU leads the all-time series winning five of the seven match-ups against the Cougars.
