Houston Leads the Pack in Conference USA All-Decade Awards

HOUSTON, Texas --Conference USA completed its 10th anniversary celebration by announcing its final All-Decade awards featuring former Lady Cougar Chandi Jones as the league's Female Athlete of the Decade. During the past year, the conference has named 212 student-athletes and 20 coaches to All-Decade squads. Houston swept the awards, having the most athletes named to All-Decade teams, the most Players-of-the-Decade in the individual sports, and the most Coaches-of-the-Decade. The Cougars edged out Tulane in each of the three categories, with 28 All-Decade team members, 6 Athlete-of-the-Decade awards, and 5 Coach-of-the-Decade awards, in addition to Jones' honor.
