HOUSTON - A pair of Cougar netters were named the All-Conference USA Women's Tennis Team in a voting by league coaches the C-USA offices announced this weekend.
Making the grade was senior Biljana Dimovska with Second Team honors and also junior Kami Miller who garnered Third Team recognition. Both athletes were instrumental in the Cougars' successful 17-10 campaign in 2005.
For Dimovska, it marked the second All-Conference honor of her career after she picked up a Third-Team nod last season. The senior who played the entire 2005 season at the No. 1 spot amassed a record of 15-11 with a 2-1 mark in C-USA play, and was also 8-4 in tournament play.
Her 2005 campaign began with a string of 10 consecutive wins, which resulted in her being named C-USA Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 9.

Miller went 35-5 on the year, good enough for fifth all-time in the UH record books for most wins in a single season, and her winning percentage of .875 set a new single season Cougar record.
In the 2005 spring season, she also went an impressive 21-3 at the No. 3-5 spots, finishing with 12 straight victories.
The Cougars' 17-10 mark, made possible largely by the play of the two All-Conference performers, marked the most wins in a season since 1997 when Houston went 19-6, and ranks as the ninth best winning percentage for a single season at .630.
