Baseball Adds Texas Southern to 2005 Schedule

HOUSTON - With a pair of rainouts already this season, the University of Houston baseball team announced the addition of Texas Southern to the 2005 schedule, head coach Rayner Noble announced Thursday.
The Cougars will play host to Texas Southern at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, at the friendly confines of Cougar Field.
As the new addition to the schedule will replace a road game and was not a part of the original season-ticket package, season-ticket holders and all fans may purchase a general admission ticket for $5 (adults) and $3 (youth). There will be no reserved seating for the game against Texas Southern.
Tickets or a valid student ID will be required for admission to the game. Gates will open one hour before first pitch.
Earlier this season, the Cougars endured rainouts against Texas Tech on March 15 in Midland, Texas, and at Conference USA rival Cincinnati on April 2. Those games were cancelled and will not be made up.
