Baseball Rained out on Tuesday vs. No. 24 Texas Tech

MIDLAND, Texas - The University of Houston baseball team's game against No. 24 Texas Tech at First American Bank Ballpark was cancelled after rain moved through the area Tuesday afternoon, head coach Rayner Noble announced.
The game will not be made up.
The Cougars will now prepare to open their 2005 Conference USA season this weekend as they travel to Memphis. That series opens at 6:30 p.m., Friday, continues at 2 p.m., Saturday and wraps up at 1 p.m., Sunday.
