Baseball Announces 2005 Broadcast Schedule

HOUSTON - Fans will be able to keep track of the University of Houston Baseball team throughout the 2005 season as head coach Rayner Noble announced the team's broadcast schedule.
More than 40 regular-season games can be heard during the 2005 season on KGBC 1540 AM and KLVL 1480 AM, starting with this weekend's appearance at the Minute Maid Park College Classic.
Fans can catch Friday's game against No. 10 Baylor (3:30 p.m.) and Saturday's contest against No. 23 Oklahoma State (noon) on KGBC 1540 AM. Sunday's game against No. 9 Texas A&M (6 p.m.) will be available on KLVL 1480 AM.
Former Cougar players Nick Torina and Pat Cauley will call all the action for Cougar fans with Torina providing the play-by-play and Cauley adding color analysis. The pregame show is slated to start 15 minutes before first pitch.
All Cougar Baseball games can be heard on the Internet at www.UHCougars.com. Fans should click on the Audio/Video link on the left side of the main page and follow directions from there.
In addition to the selected regular-season games, all Cougar Baseball games in the postseason can be heard on the radio with details coming at a later date.
