Hey cougar baseball fans. This is Thanos Papavasiliou writing my first journal entry. My purpose of doing this is to give you an idea of what it is like to be college baseball player. The due date for this first entry is tomorow and on top of this I have a Financial Systems exam and an Accounting assignment due.
In practice we are going through our last run throughs and just fine tuning our skills for the start of the season. The team is looking better and better everday and I feel like we are making great strides. Being my fourth year at UH and my last baseball season here I can say that we have a very sound team this year. The key is just execution in the game and we'll be fine.
I dont like being overconfident and arrogant as a team and we are showing no signs of this. The reason I dont like team overconfidence is that we took this approach last year and when things did not go our way it flipped our attitude dramatically. THis years team shows a lot of consistent emotions and from what I have seen so far we are going to be tough to rattle. I hope to see a lot of fans at Minute Maid and go coogs.
