Briles Adds One More To 2004 Class

University of Houston head football coach Art Briles today announced one more addition to his 2004 signing class. Sebastian Vollmer, a 6-8, 290-pound offensive lineman from Koarst, Germany, signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Cougars this fall.
Vollmer becomes the 22nd signee for the Cougars this spring, joining the 21 others who inked with Houston last week. Vollmer is the only soon-to-be-Cougar that is not from the State of Texas.
"(Sebastian) is a diamond in the rough," commented Briles. "We will reap the rewards of finding such a talented football player so far away. He is an intelligent student and physically gifted. He will represent the University of Houston well."
Houston starts spring practice on March 1 and culminates in the annual Red-White Game on Saturday, April 3.
