Over A Dozen Cougars Set To Graduate

HOUSTON, Texas - The careers of 17 University of Houston student-athletes officially will conclude this weekend, as all will take part in Winter Commencement ceremonies in Hofheinz Pavilion.
Six football players lead the pack, including recently-dubbed Third-Team, All-Conference USA tackle Phil Hawkins. Teammates joining Hawkins are Al James, Mark Hopkins, Corbin Mozisek, Gerard Daniels and Farouk Adelekan.
Four members of the track and field program also will graduate this weekend. They include Jessica Edwards, Shelton Ervin, Terie Littlepage and Jessica Oakes. Rounding out the list are Kristina DeWitt and Lucille Turpin from swimming and diving, the women's soccer tandem of Nicole Aubuchon and Katie Cook, women's basketball's Ashley Cotton, Jamie Falco from softball and baseball's Nathan Mitchell.
