HOUSTON - After a pair of matches on the road last week, the Houston volleyball team returns home for a six-game home stand that begins with Northwestern State on Tuesday night.
The non-conference match provides a break for the Cougars (4-15, 3-5), who have competed in eight straight Conference USA matches.
Northwestern State stands at 11-12 overall and 7-6 in the Southland Conference, being led by freshman outside hitter Whitney King who has 260 kills on the year. . As a team, the Demons have been out hit by opponents, 13.6-15.4 kills per game, but have committed only 510 errors to their opponents' 522.

McAnelly recorded her eighth double-double of the year against DePaul that included 22 kills and a career high 20 digs in the match. She leads Houston with 324 kills on the season.
Houston as a team has been out paced by opponents 14.1-15.1 in kills, but is out digging opponents 15.6-15.1.
