Tennis Rallies Past Texas Tech 5-2

HOUSTON - The University of Houston women's tennis team defeated Texas Tech 5-2 Saturday in a non-conference match at the John E. Hoff Varsity Courts. With the win the Cougars improve their overall record to 10-8.
Freshman Miranda Foley led Houston at the No. 1 singles spot, defeating Irina Tereschenko 6-2, 1-6 and 7-5. Analia Longoni, Yolandi Terblanche and Sarah Flood were also victorious for Houston in singles play.
