Tennis Finishes Fourth in 2003 C-USA Tournament

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Houston women's tennis team was defeated by Louisville 4-2 for a fourth place finish in the 2003 Conference USA Championships in New Orleans.
The third-seeded Cougars (13-10) won the doubles point and got a win from senior Analia Longoni in the No. 2 singles spot but could not overcome the sixth-seeded Cardinals.
Houston's 13-9 overall dual record in 2003 is the best since 1997 when it finished 19-6 under head coach Stina Mosvold.
