Hilton Houston Plaza Cougar Invitational 2003 Schedule

HOUSTON - The University of Houston softball team will host the Hilton Houston Plaza Cougar Invitational 2003 Feb. 14-16 at the Cougar Softball Stadium on the UH campus. UH, Northern Iowa, Pittsburgh, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin and Texas Southern are scheduled to participate.

Friday, Feb. 14, 2003

9 a.m.: Northern Iowa vs. Pittsburgh
11 a.m.: Pittsburgh vs. Stephen F. Austin
1 p.m.: SFA vs. UNI
3 p.m.: Texas Southern vs. Sam Houston State
5 p.m.: SHSU vs. Houston
7 p.m.: Houston vs. TSU

Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003

9 a.m.: SHSU vs. Pittsburgh
11 a.m.: Pittsburgh vs. Houston
1 p.m.: Houston vs. SFA
3 p.m.: UNI vs. SHSU
5 p.m.: TSU vs. UNI
7 p.m.: SFA vs. TSU

Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003

9 a.m.: TSU vs. Pittsburgh
11 a.m.: SFA vs. SHSU
1 p.m.: UNI vs. Houston

Tournament Notes

1.) All Games will be played at the Cougar Softball Stadium

2.) The team listed second on Friday and Saturday will be the home team in each contest and occupy the first base dugout (except when playing the University of Houston)

3.) On Sunday teams will use a coin flip to determine home and visitor

4.) Tie break will occur in the 8th inning when necessary
