Here comes the offense. This weekend saw us hit .336 as a team with 8 homeruns and 47 runs scored in five games. We did leave the weekend with a final game loss, but feel the weekend was an overall success. It was a way of getting ourselves back on track and ready for this upcoming weekend. Our team managed constant changes in weather and schedule delays. We stayed focused and found ways to win despite poor defensive and pitching performances all weekend. We will work all week on fixing the flaws defensively and preparing ourselves at the plate for the step up in pitching. This weekend will see us host regional opponent Kentucky, state rivals Texas Tech and UTSA and nationally ranked Oregon. We feel we have some things to get back from Oregon and Texas Tech after our early season meeting. We need to play well this weekend and head into LSU on a big note. It should be a good weekend of softball.
