Softball kicks off fall schedule with UH Tournament

The University of Houston softball team will get the fall season under way this weekend as they host the UH Fall Tournament Saturday and Sunday October 4-5 at the Cougar Softball Field.

Houston plays host to the University of Texas, San Jacinto Community College, Blinn Junior College and Galveston Community College in the two-day tournament, which begins at 8:30 a.m. both days.

In the Cougars first game of the tournament they will take on Galveston at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. At 3:30 p.m. Houston with hit the field against national powerhouse Texas before taking on Blinn Junior College at 5:15 p.m. On Sunday the Cougars will close out their opening weekend of fall play against Galveston, Texas and San Jacinto.
