Funeral Arrangements for Dr. Bragg Stockton Made

HOUSTON - Funeral arrangements for former University of Houston baseball head coach Dr. Bragg Stockton were made Wednesday afternoon.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, at Grand View Funeral Home (8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505; phone 281-479-6076).
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, at First United Methodist Church (1062 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77504; phone 281-487-8787).
Burial will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25, at Smith Cemetery in Palmer, Texas. The procession for the burial will depart from First Christian Church (1109 Brown Street 75165; phone 972-937-1952) in Waxahachie, Texas at 2:15 p.m.
Flowers may be sent to Grand View Funeral Home. Information about a memorial fund will be made available at the funeral service Friday.
Stockton, who served as head coach at the UH from 1987 to 1994 passed away Tuesday at his home in Pasadena. He was 64 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters Rebecca, Rachelle and Rosemary; son, Russell and 12 grandchildren.
