Baseball Announces Time Changes at Season-Opening Tournament

HOUSTON - University of Houston baseball head coach Rayner Noble announced two time changes at the Cougars' season-opening tournament in Malibu, Calif., on Monday.
The Cougars' first and last games at the Battle at the Beach, scheduled for Feb. 7-9, have each been moved up 30 minutes. UH's season opener against UC Santa Barbara will begin at noon (CST), 10 a.m. on the West Coast.
The team's tournament finale against Washington also will begin at noon (CST), 10 a.m. on the West Coast.
Pepperdine, who the Cougars will face at 4 p.m. (CST) on Feb. 8, hosts the tournament. That time was not released from previously released schedules.
