Fastpitch Fall Ball Results and Highlights

HOUSTON, Texas - The University of Houston hosted a fall tournament September 21-22 at the UH Softball Complex on campus. The Cougars saw pre-season action against Galveston College, Lon Morris, McNeese State and San Jacinto in six games.

Houston will also host the 2002 Cougar Fall Tournament #2 September 28-29 at the UH Softball Complex. Galveston, Prairie View A&M, Alvin College and Blinn College are the scheduled participants.

Sept. 21

vs. Galveston -- W, 9-0

Jamie Falco struck out eight and had three hits

vs. Mc Neese -- T, 0-0 (reached 1:45 time limit)

vs. San Jacinto -- T, 0-0 (reached 1:45 time limit)

Sept. 22

vs. Mc Neese -- L, 0-3

vs. Lon Morris -- W, 5-2

Jenny Johnson stuck out seven, walked one

vs. San Jacinto -- W, 5-1

Notes

Kristen Glowacz went 5-7 on Sunday including two home runs; also hit one Saturday against Galveston.

Jenilee Skender hit a home run against Lon Morris and center fielder Candis Turnbo added one against Galveston.
