Houston, Texas - March 1, 2002 Houston, Texas - The Cougars get back on track with big 4-1 win over Conference USA foe UAB. Rainy weather in Houston forced the match to move to the indoor venue at the Met. The final score is low due to the fact matches five and six did not finish on the afternoon. Borwell notched her tenth straight victory at the number one singles spot by defeating Schmid of UAB by the score of 7-6, 6-4. Keene also extended her singles win streak (10-0) by defeating the Blazers deBoer 6-3, 6-3. Baccarani and Longoni added to the Cougars victory by taking wins in the two and three spots receptively.
